PurrTap Privacy Policy

1. Scope

PurrTap is an iOS tapping game. This policy explains what data may be processed when you use the app, leaderboards, ads, and in-app purchase features.

2. Data we process

• Anonymous account identifier created through Supabase anonymous authentication.
• Optional username chosen in the app.
• Gameplay data such as scores, taps, duration, best taps per second, total games, and timestamps.
• Leaderboard data, including public display of username, rank, score, and selected duration.
• App preferences such as theme, cat skin, sound, haptics, language, and onboarding state.
• Ad-related identifiers and delivery signals processed by Google AdMob, subject to consent and platform rules.
• Purchase entitlement state processed by Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat for Remove Ads.

3. Anonymous account model

PurrTap does not require email, social login, Game Center, or a public profile beyond the chosen username. Anonymous authentication is used to keep leaderboard entries and profile stats tied to the same app install/account.

4. Ads

The free version may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, and interaction data according to Google policies and the consent choices available on the device.

5. In-app purchases

PurrTap offers an optional non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. Payment is processed by Apple. RevenueCat is used to validate purchases and maintain entitlement state. We do not collect raw payment card details.

6. Data retention

Local preferences remain on the device until the app is deleted or local data is reset. Leaderboard and profile data may remain in Supabase while the anonymous account exists or until deletion is requested.

7. Data deletion

To request deletion of leaderboard/profile data, email support@mcat.one with the subject PurrTap data deletion. Include your in-app username and any useful context that helps identify the anonymous account.

8. Children

PurrTap is designed as a simple casual game and does not intentionally ask for sensitive personal information. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it.

9. Security

We use managed service providers and reasonable safeguards for app data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be published on this page with a new effective date.
